About the Author

Leroy Howe is a United Methodist minister, a Yale Ph.D., and Professor emeritus of Pastoral Theology, Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University. His published writings include eight books and numerous articles and reviews in theological, professional, and general audience journals, and his professional certifications have included clinical memberships in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and the American Association for Marital and Family Therapy. Leroy and his wife, Nancy, live in Richardson, Texas, and have two daughters and two grandchildren.
